2 more days CNY is really coming to town. To those who work or study at outstation, are you ready to go back to hometown and reunion with your family? Listen to radio station 988 or One FM mentioned that many of the outstation worker or students are now on the road coming back to hometown! Well, traffic jam that's of course so mostly have to avoid the road accidents ya! Be careful on road!

As for last blog post I had posted up a touching video, did you watch it? Can you get the meaning of the video? Alright, I had designed a poster to remind everyone to go back and reunion with their family because CNY your family is waiting for you to come back!

Well, I had created Challenge Team since last month 31st, this organization is mainly focus on organizing events, community activities, sports, charity services and many more. So for this DragonCNY 2012, I had organized a FB contest and open to everyone participate on it! Just several steps you can walk away with prizes during this CNY!

Chung Ling The Bersih School

Chung Ling High School was my beloved high school. Now I had missed my secondary schooling life, missed all my friends, missed all the teachers there! As the time flies, Chung Ling High School had changed to new look!

Chung Ling High School had started the new paint since December 2011. The whole building totally changed the colour. Previously painting was the combination of rice colour with slight pink whereas for the new painting is white colour with the bright yellow! The main clock tower was even turn to be so yellow! That's why many of them said that Chung Ling High School was turn into "Bersih" school or even the kindergarten look!

From my opinion, I think it's okay to have a new look after so many years. Good job Chung Ling! Seriously, I feel that's no point to repaint over the whole school building because it need a big cost. Unless the money is much sufficient to cover all the cost by Chung Ling alumni. Although I was no longer the Chung Ling student, I just wonder that whether in the future the PIBG will still get the annual fees from the whole school students?

Merry Christmas Angry Bird

Yo guys, so how was your christmas celebration recently? Did you receive any gifts from Santa Claus? Yes I was glad to receive a christmas cake from my neighbours. They were so helpful and friendly and I was glad to have such neighbours like them. Well I love the christmas cake very much. The cake is in round size but it was specific designed as an angry bird! Cool... the red angry bird design looks so real and nice!

See? The angry bird design was so unique and it looks so special on that. Isn't it? Hmm... It looks nice but when I taste on it, it was just the simple sponge cake. Can be consider not bad already, this cake was given by people so no matter how we cannot comment much on it. Finally I ate up everything with my family. The taste was normal but the design was awesome!

So what you get for your christmas? Oh ya... actually this christmas my mum had spent a lot on buying new IT stuffs for me and my sister! She was so kind and I love her very much! My sister had bought Samsung Galaxy W and I had bought a brand new laptop Toshiba Satelite L-745 Notebook. Popular Mega Book Fair 2011

Two weeks ago Popular was having the Mega Book Fair at Straits Quay, Penang. It can be considered as the largest book fair ever in Penang. The venue was at the Straits Quay Level 6 Convention Centre. The location looks nice and huge enough to have such kind of event. If I am not mistaken, this was the first time the convention centre being used.

Inside the Popular Book Fair, I could see many types of books there. Fiction books, novels, documentary, comics, history and also some kids stuffs with stationeries. Besides that, there were selling some CDs too, of course there were original! Selling some classical songs, albums from those International popular singers.

That day, I was actually following my dad and family together went to Straits Quay for the book fair. My dad was interested on listening the talk from a Feng Shui Sifu who came from Hong Kong. This sifu was featured before at radio station 988 and he could tell you the ways on handling feng shui and he also predict out the overall luck on the year of Dragon in 2012.

I think the book fair was good for everyone especially students to let them really exposed themselves into the reading world. Students are able to learn more knowledges during this year end holidays and encourage themselves to gain more experiences and knowledges too.

I hope that next time Popular or any book stores can still having such a big scale book fair in order to encourage the reading habit from the people. Hitz! Discussion Reborn!

In the year 2008, I had created a blog called Hitz! Discussion. That time my objective creating this blog was come from my good blogger friend Nicholas Chan. He was discussing some hitz on his blog but now I think he already deactivated it. I deactivate this blog before and deactivated for 3 years! Until recently I found this blog back and would like to start it again. I changed the template, designed a new logo for it... it seems like reborn!

SPM mode moving forward!

Hi guys, sorry for never updates for a few days. Seriously I am having the SPM examination for 4 weeks in the month of November and early December. So my blog will have less updates then previous months. Less outing, less photos taken so less sharing too! xD. I will start posting about the Chung Ling Tri School Combined Graduation after my SPM examination. So stay tuned for it!

I had done the first week exam. Which done Bahasa Malaysia (Malay), English Language, Sejarah (History) and Mathematics. Finally I had done 4 subjects! 6 more subjects to go until 7th December 2011!

There are the Bahasa Malaysia, English, Sejarah and Mathematics papers!

The SPM stuffs is important for every exam day. You have to take the exam slip whenever you go into the class and taking the exam. Besides that, your IC must always with you, you will asked to put your IC on top left corner of your table! =)

According to the SPM timetable. Chinese will be the last subject for me! I am hope to finish it fast and also do well in exam too! Hopefully my efforts will bring me a big surprise after it! So far the exam questions were some easy but also some tricky! So have to encourage myself staying at home, facing at books... study more! After 7th December, I will be very very free! Gumby Day @ Google 2011

Today 12 October 2011 when I opened up the home page Google.com I saw some cute stuffs appear on the Google Home Page. I wondered what's that and found that actually it was the 90th Birthday Anniversary of Art Clokey. I don't know him but I feel that the Gumbies there were so cute. I feel familiar on it maybe when I am still child, was playing those stuffs before.

You can find out Art Clokey profile and more details here. He is a creative guy, he could design out so many gumbies here and they were really cheer up my mind. Make myself first time knowing Gumby World today... So you may check it out via Google.

　

70th CLHS Graduates Artworks

I am one of the 70th Chung Ling Graduates for this year. But I am not joining the Graduate Magazine Production Team due to my personal reason. Last year they were recruiting people to join in the team, but I think twice and at the end didn't join it. This is because I scared my studies can't cope up in the end.

Anyway, I was at the back supporting them, give them ideas and suggestions, helping them to get more creative ideas. I admit that I am not so good in everything, only boleh tahan in something! The most I like was designing, I like it since last year when I joined Leo Club. Now I am no longer my school Leo member, so I take the chance to make some artworks for 70th Graduates!

I had posted at Facebook to let everyone to comment. I received a lot of positive comments and improved steps by steps! Not bad, at least I am learning! Thanks to those pro graphic designers. 5SB4 Branding Stuffs

Branding is important, now even my class 5SB4 also do branding on Facebook! This was not a big scale of branding, we are just a community of friends and not profitable organization so just a small scale will do. Since I was joined Leo Club, I had learnt the word of "Branding" and how to use it. From Lion Alan Thoo, I get to know the A.I.M.S (Advance Internet Marketing Strategy) concept and using Facebook to do marketing!
It was not bad and it also attracted me to deep into my design artwork. I admit that my design not good as those pro graphic designers, I was just try to improve more from the basic. I had designed a lot of the badges for my club Leo Club of Chung Ling High School in previously. Now as my classmates requested, so I contribute for my class!

What I want to say here is 5SB4 2011 is always being there because we all play together before! I had designed the poster for the class and the logo for the class! The T-shirt design will be coming soon before this year ends. =) Posted by GenYong 13.08.2011

Leo Idol 2010 tickets are on sales NOW!

I had received the 10 limited tickets for the upcoming Leo Idol 2010 event held in Han Chiang High School Hall on 18th April 2010. So those who are really interested to be the audiences, you may contact me and buy from me the tickets at each ticket RM5. I can say it's quite worth to go for it because this will be the last season of Leo Idol and it's a good chance to look through the participants talents.

This year Leo Idol is no longer singing competition, it's a competition full of talents such as dances, beatbox and many more. So you must grab the chance to go and watch it! The details are as shown below:

The 3 stars, ROAR!

Now it's March, CNY over. I seriously can say I love Leo so much! Yesterday I went to the Leo Club of Penang City organized 3R project and I realized that Leo is fun! Anyway, the new product from Leo for the "117 Tragedy" is now out to school. I had bought one this morning from Yong Seng(1st Vice President of ChungLing High School Leo Club).

This is the badge created by some Leos for their late president Jason Ch'ng, Brendon, Yi Zhang and those who sacrifice their life in the tragedy. I think this is a good item to remember them and did some charity.

One for RM 4 whereas 2(different designs) for RM 7.

The new bag

I had a new bag from my mum. Actually this was bought long time ago which before Christmas last year. Anyway, due to the smashpOp.net contest so I forget to show out this bag. Later I will go to the Guang Ming Daily organized pre-CNY celebration at Macalister Road. So later on I will bring this back together with my digital camera!

This bag I bought at the warehouse sales in Queensbay Mall. It attracted me when I first walked into it... It cost me RM49 and I think it's worth because of the design. I like the design and the style. It's made by Converse...

Christmas Feeling @ Shopping Complex

Hello everyone wish you a merry earlier christmas first. Anyway, christmas is just around the corner. 1 week more to go and I am sure everyone has prepared for their functions on christmas eve or even christmas day. Not forget for those commercial areas, they had decorated their building in the one month time before the christmas. I had snapped some photos of Penang 2 popular shopping complex that's Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall. You may make a compare!

I was surprise to see that Gurney decorations were so awesome. It's much better than Queensbay. I really can feel the christmas atmosphere when I walked in. Last 2 weeks, I follow my friend Kok Aun who plan to buy shirts in FOS. Then I took sometimes to snap on those photos. Really happy to see there have a santa claus together with santa deer up at the signboard! I rate for it is PERFECT!

Whereas come to Queensbay, it's more look like having Halloween. Why I say so because the lights decorations is black in colour and the style is a bit like halloween style. I don't know what the purpose they put this. But I just saw the designed stage and many of christmas tree. I not really feel christmas atmosphere there! But it's a good job for them to do the stage, I can comment that the stage was awesome! Rate for them PERFECT too. I think it's quite a big project for them... Starwalk 2009 Goodies

Wow suffered from the half day outing in school and watched Penang International Dragon Boat Competition 2009 at Jelutong Expressway. I was there to take some photos since I didn't go before! Anyway, it's really hot and now I get a bit of sunburn on my face.... but I think it's worth because I made myself the first time watching this event! Good...

Besides that now I just have around 15 minutes to settle up my things before go to sleep. Tomorrow early morning need to wake up for annual Penang Starwalk. I had joined it for three years since I was form 1 I joined it! Actually it's a healthy annual event that let Penangite walk for 10 km in 2 hours.

Actually compare with PBIM(Penang Bridge International Marathon) the goodies are much more than that. I can't say anything because Star Paper is a big company whereas the PBIM organizer was just a state government. This year I wondered why will have so much of goodies after reading YanYao's blog. I just realize when I received a goodies bag from my dad!

It's actually contains a lot of light food. Got sweets, biscuits, crunchy items and more. Furthermore the organizer also found the good sponsors this year for providing the nice recyclable bag and I get a lot of facial items which can keep me clean. This year the new business hotel Eastin hotel was sponsored two sports events! It's really worth it that I paid for only RM8 get back a lot of stuffs.

Starwalk rocks! I am looking forward for tomorrow lucky draws and the new arrangement of reporting venue. I am looking forward to the crowds too! Meet friends there and bloggers as well... Bye and good night! Posted by GenYong 12.12.2009
