My 18th Birthday Celebrations

Yeah! Finally I have the chance to blog about my 18th birthday celebrations. It was happened about a month ago (22.09.2012), I am so sorry for delaying those blog post. My 18th Birthday, not a special one but it's meaningful... I don't know why will have the feeling of comfortable once you are celebrating birthday with family. It was so nice and relaxing! :D

#1 We went to Burmah Road to buy some tarts before proceeding for my birthday celebrations/

#2 Here is the place we went! It's Hai Nan Western Food which originated from Mount Erskine, this was their branch that located at Terengganu Road (near Heng Ee High School). 

#3 We had ordered ourselves the set dinner and also some snacks like garlic bread with mushroom soup.

#4 I had myself a set of Chicken grilled with sauce. I forgot the name of it but just remember of something like "Paris Style Grilled Chicken".. xD

#5 My dad ordered himself a plate of Grilled Trio set... which contained of Grilled Fish, Grilled Chicken and also Grilled Lamb. I tried... It was nice too!

#6 My sister ordered a plate of Chicken Cordon Bleu. Not bad but just a bit dry.

#7 Yes I am the Birthday boy!

Actually on that night I was surprise there was another team of people celebrating her friends birthday as well in that restaurant. I wished to celebrate together with them but end up I just blow the cake myself with my family. The main reason is because I don't know them well and the feeling of paiseh also! So just holding a cake and snapped photos will do.

#8 Photos with my parents and thanks to them for giving me the opportunities to share the happiness with them in this 18 years and I promised I will be better me in the future.

#9 Photos with my sister and my mum... I am glad to have a cute and caring sister. Although she is younger than me, she knows how to support me in such events and activities too. I have such a good sister and good mum too! :D

After the dinner, since it was Saturday night and we went to Straits Quay for a simple outing. Relax ourselves after a week of working days, and we seldom be there also. That's why we took the chance to visit there again.

#11 Straits Quay is a nice place to take photos.

#13 I made my first time to Chatime Galleria at Straits Quay.

#14 Straits Quay is a good place for promotions too. That time was mooncake festival and many booths selling mooncakes and attracted the crowds of people.

#15 When you come to Straits Quay, this is a must visit place! A place for your to enjoy walking with your loved ones, chit chatting out your feeling, enjoying the sea breeze too.

#16 The nice interior lightings in the atrium of the mall. 

It was full of lanterns and the colourful lightings!

#17 Wow LIKE A BOSS owning The Volkswagen Bettle. My dad has taken the photo for me and it looks like I owned the car... xD!

#18 The interior look of Volkswagen Bettle... It was a nice car. and it's good for couples! It looks so sporty and suits for teens.

#19 The engine parts of The Bettle. It was really cool and tidy and really looks different like the normal cars in the market now.

#20 Besides that, there was exhibited the Volkswagen Golf GTI too... It looks bigger and suitable for family. But the price is not affordable for my family yet, maybe when I get the great job in the future, I will consider of buying it... still long time to go. xD!

I was glad to have family with me to celebrate my 18th birthday. I was disappointed couldn't have the chance to celebrate my birthday with my friends but I hope next year I have more friends to celebrate with me. DragonCNY 2012 Day 1

Today is the Chinese New Year 6th Day, so what did you do in today? Shopping, hanging out, family outing or watching movie? For me in the 5th day, I went to watch a CNY movie with my aunt and grandma. Let's review back the 1st day of Dragon Year, what usually we did on that day? Having vegetarian brunch in the morning, visiting relatives, greeting neighbours and everyone!

This year Day 1 of Chinese New Year as usual after our vegetarian lunch, we visited our relatives and greeting them with some mandarin oranges, chit chatting, taste for those CNY biscuits and many more. This year my another cousin Natalie was having her 6th birthday in my aunty's house! Birthday + Chinese New Year combo makes my aunty's house turn to be even more people, the reunion atmosphere even bigger.

There she's the birthday girl! Not that standing one, she's sitting beside me when I took this photo. That girl standing in the photo was Natalie's younger sister, both of them are so chubby and play around with us always.They are growing up at KL Puchong City which are my cousin uncle's daughter. This was the first time Natalie celebrate her birthday in hometown Penang! 

Yes you can see the sweet moments between the sisters. Both of the are look alike and also the same chubby! Well, their age is same rank with my little cousin Keegan boy. As for Keegan was always play with them and playing around like the kids!

There my cousin uncle and cousin aunt together with their daughters such a happy family there! I still remember my cousin uncle was having his wedding on the year 2004 26th September which married with my cousin aunt who from Sarawak Kuching! My cousin aunt is a kind person and of course a kind mum to her daughters. When I was still kids, I used to out with them whenever they came back from KL!

So conclusion in the first day I get around 30 angpaos from relatives and neighbours. Not really much and some was just red packets a lot but inside was not that much! xD. Well, I don't care about this. Chinese New Year just enjoy it will do! Don't care about angpao and money! So how many angpaos did you get?

My friend YouLoong's birthday

I never organize a birthday party before but I do attend my friends birthday party. I almost seldom make myself attend to those birthday parties because sometimes I was not so free and convenient too. Anyway, in earlier of this month (01.12.2011), I get invited to join on celebrating my friend You Loong's birthday at Neway Karaoke Box, Queensbay Mall.

I make myself first time go into the party room of the karaoke box, make myself celebrating people's birthday inside the KTV. The feeling was so cool and really a big surprise for my friend, You Loong. On that day, he never noticed that we were going to celebrate birthday for him and he just simply follow our instruction went into Neway KTV. After that, we were giving him a surprise.

After singing some songs, the system turned down and changed the song into birthday song! Wow, everyone were shocked on that and after that everyone started to sing the birthday song together with the birthday cake were delivered into the party room. What a surprise! 

Singing in the dark was so fun and exciting...

Actually this idea were originated from Missyanda and her friends which all YouLoong's friends too. Anyway, we used to plan it while SPM examination still going on and had some discussions while group study at library. It was cool!

Finally, I hope that YouLoong was having his memorable birthday this year with all his friends. Sang for 5 hours of non stop songs make me feel thirsty and sore throat after that. But it's worth that can have a gathering with friends once! =) Posted by GenYong 21.12.2011

Aunt's 2009 Birthday @ Queensbay Mall Kim Gary

Good morning everyone, I think this blog post is a bit belated. The timeline is on last year November while my aunt celebrated her 2009 Birthday. Alright, my uncle brought us to Kim Gary restaurant together with my cousins and grandma. I had captured some photos of them and plan to introduce them for you all.

This was the outlook of Kim Gary restaurant at Queensbay Mall. Usually in public holidays and weekends there will have a queue there outside the counter. What I can say on the restaurant is really a famous restaurant where served nice food from Hong Kong.

He is my uncle who was the boss on that day.

She was the birthday girl on that day and busy answering calls.

Alright, this is my grandma(mum's side). When I was small I always scared of her because she will higher up her voice to scold us! XD.

This was my KL cousins who really friend to me. The left is my same aged cousin Jun Ming who get 8As in PMR examination! The right is Hao Ming who good in computer system and web!

The little and the most cute cousin Keegan Boy was excited to celebrate the christmas! He hold the hand of the santa claus and smile to the camera.

My Birthday Celebration

Last month was my birthday which fall on 22nd of September. Since I was sitting for the preparation of PMR, so I didn't go out to celebrate with friends nor family. I have a surprise celebration at home with my uncle, aunt and together with family. If not mistaken, that day was the Hari Raya holiday. Everyone free to celebrate my birthday with me on afternoon!

My uncle not only bought a cake for me but also the Kentucky Fried Chicken. I ate a lot that day and really feel something when it's my day. I get the surprise from them because I early thought that no celebration for this year. By the way, I really need to thank my dad, mum, uncle and aunt together with my sister and cousin, Keegan who always greet me.

My wish on that day was hope that I could score well in PMR and get the good result. Hope it comes true in this year end. Posted by GenYong 16.10.2009
