Chung Ling The Bersih School

Chung Ling High School was my beloved high school. Now I had missed my secondary schooling life, missed all my friends, missed all the teachers there! As the time flies, Chung Ling High School had changed to new look!

Chung Ling High School had started the new paint since December 2011. The whole building totally changed the colour. Previously painting was the combination of rice colour with slight pink whereas for the new painting is white colour with the bright yellow! The main clock tower was even turn to be so yellow! That's why many of them said that Chung Ling High School was turn into "Bersih" school or even the kindergarten look!

From my opinion, I think it's okay to have a new look after so many years. Good job Chung Ling! Seriously, I feel that's no point to repaint over the whole school building because it need a big cost. Unless the money is much sufficient to cover all the cost by Chung Ling alumni. Although I was no longer the Chung Ling student, I just wonder that whether in the future the PIBG will still get the annual fees from the whole school students?

Undilah! Go Vote..

Another project by the local producer Pete Teo after the 15Malaysia. This time the concept of creating this videography is to encourage the youths who had over 21 years old to go for voting in next General Election. It is a reminder to every youth who had reached the age of 21 years old, go register yourself as the voter and be the country boss.

No matter which political party you support, just do your job as a voter and vote for your desirable government. It was an important issue for the country Malaysia because your decision will make the government change, change to be better, bring the country move further!

Datuk Lee Chong Wei is the champion!

I am sure everyone was so excited on the result of 2117 happened this early morning 1.00am(Malaysia time) for the All England Badminton Match 2011. As a malaysian, we really proud that our Datuk Lee had done the mission and proof that this time Malaysia Boleh! His success on beating down China "superman" Lin Dan on this final match had cheer up all anak Malaysia.

Last night while I was watching on that match, it was quite interesting and I could see that Datuk Lee had tried very hard to win this match! Finally his effort had come into the conclusion of WIN! Congratulations to Datuk Lee and our prime minister Dato' Seri Najib Razak also at there to have the support for our nation team!

New Year 2011!!

It's Spring February

Hello guys, Happy Monday and also Happy the 1st of February. I think we should say bye to the black January now and start a new chapter now. Alright, when step into the month of February. I think that CNY is really around the corner. As I turn on TV or radio, I could listen to those CNY songs singing around. I can feel the atmosphere of CNY in shopping complex and supermarkets.

CNY Decorations @ Sunshine Square

Last Saturday, I bought my new shoes at BJ Complex. It cost me around RM70! Then I followed my family went to Sunshine Square look for the big sales. WOW! There were really crowded of people, everyone seems like rush for CNY. Many peoples busy choosing canned foods and some of them busy picking up the soft drinks.

Now everywhere was full of CNY design and decorations. Since now already February, that means still left 13 days to CNY! Are you happy then? I think children will very happy as I could see that my little cousin was so excited to welcome CNY! That time he can eat, play, get angpao and have fun! XD.

Memorial Ceremony 追悼会 29.01.2009(Quick update)

The Dragon Boat tragedy had happened around 2 weeks time. Those 5 students and 1 teacher had went into another world and funeral all done! The sad feelings were slightly go off from other students. But today the memorial ceremony makes everyone cried again! Many VIPs came this morning included YAB Lim Guan Eng together with those EXCOs members, ChungLing alumni and board of directors, Former YBs and the ex-chungling students.

Anyway, I think this was the largest memorial mourning ceremony by the ChungLing committees. The family members, students, VIPs were gathered together in school hall show their respect to all 6 students and teacher! Most of the society Board Of Directors were there show their respect too. I think the numbers of people was reach up to 1000!

Many students included me were there observing the ceremony, I felt down while I was helping my friend to take video. I could see many students were broke down while the memorial video was playing. Although I didn't join my friend Weng Aik to do the video, but I could see his effort on making this for the most memorable 'souvenir'. The video was great and it was so touching that could make everyone turn down or even cried...

So the 1 hour ceremony ends on around 11.00pm and my friend Weng Aik was interviewed by the NTV7 reporters and also at the end they interviewed me too... I felt so down on that time and my language might not so accurate! So if you want to watch me, just turn on your TV to channel 107 for Astro(NTV7). Catch up the Mandarin news on 9.30pm*updated! Or perhaps Bernama TV (channel 502) English News on 9.30pm...

That's all... missed Mr Chin, Jason, Yi Zhang, Brendon, Zi Jun and Yong Xiang, all of you will always with us and we will keep all of you in our deep heart!

回忆。过去

A very sad case happened in Penang on last Sunday. My school Chung Ling High School Dragon Boat Team 18 members just left 12 members. 1 teacher and 5 students were died on that accident. While the time I received the news, I felt shock and worried about the case. Although I didn't go to the venue I catch up the news on TV and online.

I went to 4 friends' funeral, felt down and cried sometimes... I can't believe why god make this? I lost 4 friends in one day! How come? I really missed Yong Xiang, Jason, Brendon and Yi Zhang, I thought that I can still live with them happily in this week but the god not allowed! No excuse, I have to follow... Just hope that they can Rest In Peace and be our angels always with us!

I think 4 of them won't like to see us cried on them... So I won't cry, I will be strong and do something to let them see! Submit our achievements to them... It just like yesterday the Sifu said, "We have to be strong and achieve something for them..." "They wont like to see us sad on them". I fully agree with this statement, so hopefully to those dragon boat members get this meaning. They will always be our angels, always take care of us, beside of us, look for the fun from us and they will really happy in heaven!

The Condolence

At first I have to say condolence to Mr Chin's family and Jason Ch'ng's family. I feel so sad after received this news in the morning. Seriously I don't know that there was a dragon boat training out there at Lebuh Macallum. I feel so sad when I knew that there were 2 people dead and 4 still missing. Some of them were my friends and I feel so sad on them. Hopefully to those who are still missing be strong and come back! =(

I was shocked when received the news that Jason Ch'ng was dead. Yesterday was my school co-curiculum mini exhibition, I still chat with him after the function and he said bye to me after he left but today he was no longer here. I really admired at him, he was a good leader and the good president I have before. I don't know why the yesterday conversation become the last chat between us!

Sometimes I don't know how to say, why it can be like this? Yesterday I also saw the teacher Mr Chin, who looks similar like KOKAHKOK. But tomorrow he is no longer in Chung Ling teaching. Although he didn't teach me before but I can feel that he was a good teacher!

I found that the 4 students that haven't been found were my friends. They were really good! One of them Yong Xiang was my ex-classmate in Form 1. Yesterday I still take photo to Yi Zhang while he was having the scout exhibition... But now he was still missing. Brandon Yeoh I know him since he was YE and also PRS in school! Now what I can do is pray hard for them to come back safely and hope for miracles come true!

I am speechless now and hopefully tomorrow all will back in safe! Have a condolence assembly tomorrow... Let us pray hard for them! Posted by GenYong 17.01.2010

Happy Schooling 2010

Hey guys and girls who still study at high school or primary school or even college/university, wish everyone of you happy schooling and enjoy your school life in the brand new year. This year I go to 4SB3, is considered downgrade... XD! Anyway, I didn't sad about it and I just tell myself try the best as you can! Alright, I think it has many times to develop myself again in the class! =)

Making new friends, knowing each others, sharing features... But the most important is this year I already Form 4. Not a honeymoon year for me because I don't want to be too stress in Form 5 later. Just keep myself update always and follow as where as I can. Try to concentrate in class and listen to teacher's advice!

Today is the 1st day school reopen. I switched to another block and missed the form 3 block very much! Recess time changed earlier is good but a bit tired after recess. I think most of my teachers are good and hopefully I can understand them well within 2 months. I bought 10 science note books from book shop and it's really a long queue.

School reopen, homework coming. My desk is a bit messy just now and I really quite busy on the forms and also my first homework add maths today. I still not yet feel add maths is a hard work but I think soon I will. Filled up all the forms and signed by parents. Later on to pack up my bag! Just completed some designs for my society and really rush on time! Anyway, I will try my best for everything... I get 7A's 1B for PMR

Today morning about 10.45am I arrived at school. Saw most of the students get their result with flying colours. Before that I received a phone call from my friend JiunMing who told me a good news that he get 7A's and 1B. I congratulated him first and started to nervous for my result! Anyway, I keep myself steady to buy some batteries for photo shooting.

But it's too late for me... I didn't manage to take a photo with my friends. No group photos, no personal photos but just a result slip shot. I don't mind it! Tomorrow I will go and read newspaper that see my friends' name appear on it! Tonight maybe I will turn on TV to watch NTV7 and Astro Bernama TV for the interview of my friend, Lester!

There are my result... It's official! Anyway, I feel so glad to get 7A's 1B. I don't what's my problem in Chinese subject. Maybe is myself problem, I try don't blame anyone. I accept this official result with happy feeling! Maybe my chinese not good! So maybe next year onwards I will write more on chinese. Or perhaps open a chinese blog? Anyway, Read tomorrow newspapers! having fun tonight with your family or friends!

Dong Zhi Happy 2009 冬至快乐

Morning everyone here, if you're a chinese you sure know today is what festival going on. Anyway, Let me explain to you what you celebrate today. Actually Dong Zhi is a festival which directly translate means 'Winter Coming'. It's the last festival of the year and before Chinese New Year. Usually people will make 'Tang Yuan' (汤圆) on the eve of Dong Zhi. 'Tang Yuan' which mean a little glutinous rice ball. In traditional, my grandma told me that while children ate one 'TangYuan' they will elder 1 year old.

Just now about 10.00am in the morning I woke up and after did praying to ancestral, I ate one small bowl of Tang Yuan. My grandma used Tang Yuan to pray for GOD! Last night, we did the glutinous balls until midnight 12.00am! In total we did for four colours which means four seasons in whole year. I don't know which colour represent what... XD!

This is an annual festival event celebrated by Chinese. Some of them said 冬至大过年. So this festival it just seems like another Chinese New Year. My grandma later will cook something like Reunion Dinner. So now I ate the Tang Yuan and that means I grow elder! XD.

Neway Karaoke Box is coming to Penang

A good news for Queensbay Mall shoppers. Neway Karaoke Box is opening soon in Queensbay Mall, Penang. They opened their 1st outlet in Penang and I think it's a good news for those Penangites. I think they will open on next year and that time Penang going to have 2 choices. One is RedBox in Gurney and another one is Neway in Queensbay.

I think now both of them have to adjust their price to attract those peoples coming. As you know most the Penangites plan to have a good service without paying much. Anyway, it's good for me to choose Neway because the location is nearer to me. Then next time when shop in Queensbay I have another destination to go on! Wait for you Neway... R.I.P Great Grandma 1917-2009

A bad news that received through the phone rang this evening. That time I still enjoyed my nap after came back from town. A phone call from my mum mentioned that my great grandma had passed away. I still make confirm with mum is it the truth.... But finally it's truth! After this phone, I suddenly woke up and shocked that finally happened. I can't accept the truth and began down for that moment.

I wrote the message in my Live Messenger, Twitter, Plurk and so on... Besides that, I also received a lot of caring messages which called me don't sad! I would like to thank everyone of you who always care on me! Thank you buddies...

I definitely feel very sad now. But I can't do anything, just can hope my great grandma passed away peacefully. Luckily, I had taken a few photos last month. That time she was still very fresh in mind. I can't imagine why suddenly she changed until like that and leave us finally.

*On the photo above I had mentioned the words to my great grandma, the last sentence to her, hopefully she will know it!

I had wrote a chinese message for my great grandma. She live on this world for 92 years, I think it is a long time and very old people. She born on 1917 and leave us on 2009. This remind me that she was same age with my school ChungLing. I remember that my mum told me great grandma came from China. She worked very hard and suffer for the hard life... Now she really can rest it to another world! =(

Those photos had become the most memorable photos. I make sure I　save it nicely and safely. I think this will be the only collection for me! I think I will go and print out this photo for my collection, no matter softcopy or anything. I will make many copies for in case...

Anyway, this might be the peace sign... Life is like that, everyone has to overcome this!

The end to King Of Pop - Michael Jackson

Yesterday when I was reading the breaking news, I shocked that how surprise the news it is! How come the King Of Pop will die in suddenly. Because recently the newspaper was reported that he's going to plan for the next schedule for the world trip concert. But now is all gone!

After received this news, I felt shocked and also sad to miss this talented singer. From the reports, the main causes of his death is because of the heart attack. Michael Jackson was a spotlight for 40 years long since he released the album of Thriller. It's a waste and his death caused a lot of people cried and we really missed the King of Pop.

His schedule for this coming July held a concert in London is canceled and no longer held again. He was a talent guy and became the world spotlight before in earlier 60th century. The world were listening his songs since 1960s until now. He was the one who create the Popstyle in the world.

To his death, I feel so sorry and sad to hear that. By the way, I wish Michael Jackson can be going into the 'better world' and Michael Jackson is always with us! Your voices will be the memorable in our heart! Posted by GenYong 27.06.2009

Transformers 2：Revenge of the Fallen Released

Today the latest Transformers series was launched since the 1st episode launched in year 2007. Two years later, the film maker Michael Bay produced this series to the part 2. Since year 2007, this movie was so popular and been memorable from everyone, so the film maker was directed another episode which more about Fallen.

Yesterday actually nicholas already watched the premiere of this movie. He said not bad in his twitter and I am now planning want to go and watch it or not. Anyway, Transformers movie was full of action in the part 1, I don't know whether it is continue in the part 2.

From others who plan to go for tonight, they mentioned that the tickets in cinema were fully booked, no matter in Gurney or Queensbay. I think this is the great movie after Terminator Salvation.

This weekends Queensbay Mall will held an exhibition at the central zone. It's a Transformers exhibition, it's a deal for you. If you're pretty and sexy enough(for girls), you can go and take the competition. Or maybe you can go there to check for the Transformers collections.

A(H1N1) attacked the schools

From the breaking news, there were 4 schools being closed starting from now which happened in KL. Now we can see that the A(H1N1) cases were become more terrible. The Minstry Of Health was taking action in those cases. Our country keep on increasing the number of patients and now the schools also be corrupted.

I think this virus will keep on increasing the numbers. It's more serious compare with SARS that happened in year 2003. Anyway, this blog post is one of the alerts for you and GenYong would like to remind you take care of your health. If you feel not well please go and see doctor, avoid going outside, drink more water!

Haze Around Malaysia, take care!

Recently the weather in Malaysia was so hot and now become hazzy around the whole Malaysia. Penang here was going to reach the serious status whereas Klang and Shah Alam were polluted seriously since yesterday.

From the news headline in malaysiakini.com, the spot of the API reading was reach over 100 spots. That means that there already very hot and cloudy around the city. The latest I think it will be more terrible without any rain.

For Penang, I feel that there is going to be more serious if still have no rain coming down. We have suffering for no rain about one week. So hopefully today will have a rain coming down and neutralize the environment and cool down the hot weather.

Besides that, everyone must take care of personally health because A(H1N1) virus was around Malaysia and will turn it into the dangerous status. Remember to check up if you get any flu, feeling not well etc. in hospital! Wash more hand, drink more water. If can please reduce the outdoor activities or gathering, you can prevent this virus and the air pollution around the city.

Mansor won Penanti seat!

A very good news for everyone in Malaysia and of course PKR and Pakatan Rakyat. In the passed by-election which held just now, the result was out on 8.30pm. After I checked the official result from Malaysiakini.com, the big winner of this by-election was Mansor. First of all I would like to congratulate PKR for this winning and this is what the government people need nowadays.

Although Barisan Nasional didn't participate in this by-election and caused this election was the most quiet by-election. PKR just versus three free candidates. By the way, Mansor gained 6052 votes and the majority was 5558 votes whereas for the three candidates was get 942 votes in total. All of the three was lost their deposit and this was the great majority won by PKR. Congratulations!

So on Wednesday, Mansor is going to be our Assist. Chief Minister 1 in Penang. Anyway, as penangites here, we welcome you to be our dearest new 1st assist. chief minister and hope you can lead us to the success.

However, this was the 1st by election after the Perak government crisis. So I think the malaysian know that we need a more fair and honour government to lead the country, no longer is Barisan Nasional!
