Farewell with Mr Ngiao

Mr Ngiao was my ETA lecturer in previous semester. I think he was the youngest lecturer I have ever met before in PSDC. Well, he was a good l his lecturer as what he taught to me was so useful and I appreciate the advices that given by him. Now Mr Ngiao is continue his PHD studies in Canada, so we did a small farewell with him before he left Malaysia.

We discussed in last minute and decided to have a simple lunch with Mr Ngiao. On that day we used to meet at Queensbay Mall and choose for suitable restaurant to have lunch. At last, we had chosen the Dave's Deli and had lunch at there for around 8 peoples.

This was my first time having Dave's Deli meal since it opened for many years. I was working at Chatime which located opposite Dave's Deli, but seriously I never tried before. Well, I heard many of my friends said that the food is nice and with the reasonable price. Yup, I have to agree with that and you may take a try if you haven't do so! :D

We did some photo shootings after our lunch. It was so fun to have chance having lunch with a lecturer. That day I was like acting like a boss belanja everyone for lunch but at last they return me the money also! HahaHa. I treated Mr Ngiao as he gonna to leave on that time, he seems to be really glad to see all of us present on that day and shared a lot of moments and stories with us. Thank you, sir!

After lunch, we did some window shopping as walked in a group LIKE A BOSS. Keep on chit chatting and share the happy memories with Mr Ngiao. We did say the goodbye to Mr Ngiao and that was the last goodbye before he went to Canada. :D

I was having some desserts with my friend and previous groupmates Ezra after the lunch. We went to Queens Food Market to taste for this fruit desserts. It taste nice and cost us for RM 5.00 for this bowl. It was nice and I forgot what's the name already but the stall is near to skating park. 

It was so random when Ezra trying on my camera. I was calculating money and expenses after the lunch. I was happy on that time because I got my August salaries from my boss on that day too. We did a lot of talking and discussions there! It was a meaningful day spent with my college mates. Thank you everyone! I hope we still have the next chance to hang out together. xD! Samsung Galaxy SIII Roadshow

Hello blog readers, I would like to say sorry that I have been quite a few days didn't update my blog post. Anyway, today I would like to share about the Samsung Galaxy SIII Roadshow which held in Queensbay Mall in the early of month June!

This is Samsung Galaxy SIII with the slogan of "Design for Human Being", if I am not mistaken. It was launched since 31st May 2012 and became the latest smartphone among Apple, HTC, Nokia and many more products. The unique shape with curves were attracted me to touch on it! The extreme big screen was designed like border-less and it's nice to look at and also light to be carried.

The DiGi Telco promoters were there promoting for the new designed smartphone Samsung Galaxy SIII. They also recommended the package for the current DiGi users as to encourage them to subscribe for the DiGi Smart Plan. 

Many people were there testing for the new released smartphone. How smart is it? It's Samsung Galaxy SIII the latest smartphone in the world now before iPhone 5 release. Posted by GenYong 30.06.2012

Tea Secret at Queensbay Mall

Besides Chatime, there was a lot of tea desserts popping out recently. For Penang, there was 6Celcious, ShareTea and also the Tea Secret that I would like to recommend in this blog post. Tea Secret was originated from Malaysia and also from Penang. I am proud to say it was started up by my secondary school senior who aged only 23 years old.

Tea Secret was opened in Queensbay Mall about half a year ago. It is a kiosk outlet which located at the Lower Ground Floor near the basement car park entrance. The Tea Secret outlet was located near Jusco supermarket and also several food outlets such as Kenny Rogers Roaster, Bread History.

Grass Jelly Roasted Milk Tea

On the 15th May, I was there with my friend to take my first try there. There was so cool because that day was 15th and every month 15th there will have Buy 1 Free 1 Promo for whole day long! We bought one Large Roasted Milk Tea Brothers which inside the drink contained of Pearl, Grass Jelly and Pudding. We got a free Large Grass Jelly Roasted Milk Tea! Quite worth while you bought the drinks there!

Yes they have some unique drinks like the new launched red bean smoothies series which can't be found in Chatime. Their fruit teas seems to be so attractive and nice, I might go to have a try in the future then! If you go on 15th every month, there have a promo of Buy 1 Free 1! Really worth it and it's a good attitude from the boss to rewards their customer frequently.

Overall there are variety of drinks that you can try besides Chatime. I believe it can be expanding soon to the nationwide Malaysia. As now it only located at local which in Penang and the only outlet in Queensbay Mall. The teas there were nice and unique as I can rate it as 7/10. Vogue for Virtue 2012

Vogue for Virtue is the annual event for Queensbay Mall during the month of April. V is the theme! This event was also known as a charity fashion show that open to all the Malaysian especially Penangites to have their chance participating in modeling contest. This was also a major event for Queensbay Mall, every year the same place that's happening there!

On 21st April 2012, there was a charity fashion show took place in the Central Zone of Queensbay Mall! There were a few Malaysia popular celebrities like Amber Chia, Carmen Soo, Steve Yap, Hanson Lee and many more. From my opinion I think this charity fashion show is the way to show out the love or caring we had to the community and also to those who need!

Besides that there were some model search auditions which provided the platform for Penang handsome boys or pretty girls to perform themselves in modeling contest. From that on, they did the brands modeling fashion show on that day. Quite a number of retailing brands had sponsored in this event such as Jefferson, Poh Kong, Mirror, Padini, Springfield and many more!

I went to witness the show while I was having break time. When I was there the show is almost ended and it's the time to announce for winners. They whole central zone of Queensbay Mall were crowded of people since that day was also a Sunday, everyone came out and shopping! I would like to congratulate the winner for both categories which is male and female category!

Malaysia Popular Model Celebrities Amber Chia was there announced the winner for male category and given the award to the winner! I don't know his name but he was so handsome and many girls were mad on looking him and keep on screaming! The atmosphere there was quite high and everyone cheers when the winner has been announced!

At last before the ceremony ended, every participants had come out to show the congratulations to both winners of the year. Every participants were dressing nice and no wonder the judges said that it was hard to decide who is the winner. Although the winners has announced, every participants was showing their fully support to both winners and some of them promised to come back and participate in next year!

Yes, the group photo of the day! All the model search contestants had come out to have the group photo. In the event you could see there were a lot of pro photographers holding their DSLR with the multiple zoom lens and some cool gadgets. I was just standing at the back and snapped some random photos that's quite enough for myself! =) At least I can get something for my blog post.

After the event had ended, everyone grabs the chance to have a photo with Amber Chia. I didn't get involved in it and was just looking them for the photos. So as well, I just did some random shots on Amber Chia. I can say that Amber Chia is still looking young although she already had one son! Cadbury Chocolate Fair @ Queensbay Mall

This was happened long time ago, around 1 month I think. Cadbury Chocolate is a well known chocolate in Malaysia which themed in purple colour. I like chocolates and I was glad to see that this chocolate had happened in Queensbay Mall. This was happened while I was working at Chatime last month! Let's take a look on the chocolate fair and see what's special inside.

Cadbury chocolate themed the exhibition as Share The Happiness which encourage more consumers living in happiness via eating their chocolates. I like the design of the overall exhibition site, especially the chocolate tree and also the flying airplane in the middle of the hall. It really bring much happiness for everyone of course included me!

I think this exhibition was prepared with a lot of efforts from the organizer. It's really a big project to set up the exhibition site, besides the chocolate trees, flying airplane, there were also a chocolate fountain, cadbury mascot, games section, projection screening and many more... It was like a chocolate wonderland!

I was glad to have the chance took photos with the cadbury mascot... The mascot was so cute and attractive, there was many children grabbing the chance to take photos with it! 

The organizer also provided some family games for those family to participate on it and also some games for children like customizing their own chocolate, taking photos in the cadbury wonderland or tasting for the fruit chocolate instantly at the exhibition site. I went there while I was having break time and bought some chocolates back to Chatime and taste it too! This Cadbury Chocolate Fair really awesome, I like it... do you like chocolates? Chatime, Queensbay Mall

I had worked at Chatime, Queensbay Mall for one month and a few days since 2nd February 2012. I was glad to work there and now was like addicted on the tea there! Chatime is a well known international bubble tea brand from Taiwan. It was started from Taiwan and franchise over 10 countries such as Australia, Philipines, USA, Thailand, Hong Kong, China and many more places!

I am working at Chatime, Queensbay Mall which was the 2nd outlet in Malaysia that opened on December 2010. Many people thought that all Chatime in Malaysia was under the same boss, but actually it doesn't means that. For Queensbay Mall and Gurney Plaza one were under my boss and directly franchise from Taiwan! So it was some sort different from Chatime Malaysia.

Previously on 8th March 2012, we had worked on the 350 cups of drinks to delivery based on the orders from Dell Asia Pacific company for their functions. It was pretty cool to do all the 350 cups in a few hours time. It was fun and exciting but yet also tiring after that! I was glad to work there and enjoy the working moments until the end of April! Kiwi Berry Frozen Yogurt

Guys and girls, do you ever try frozen yogurt before? Maybe someone tried Tutti Frutti or any outlet before? So which one you like the best? Well, I am here to introduce you a brand new Frozen Yogurt Kiwi Berry opened at Queensbay Mall Basement North Zone!

I never had the frozen yogurt before, not Tutti Frutti or anything. But once I made my first time in Kiwi Berry yesterday, I was thinking to help them on promotions about the frozen yogurt! However, yesterday my friend Derrick Chuah brought me to there and taste for the frozen yogurt, we ordered a cup of it and had it there.

What's so special inside is the yogurt was like ice cream but yet it was so smooth and so cool. You can add up top in as you want and there were a lot of choices for you. Up to 6 flavours frozen yogurt and ore than 20 types of top in for you to put.

So after you get a cup of frozen yogurt, you can go to the counter for weighing. 100g for RM4.90 and see what you take and how many it weighed. Quite okay la, but yet I still feel that the price is high a bit. xD! Anyway, the taste not bad and you should take a try once! But if you just want to try the taste, get a FREE sample from the crew there, they are almost my friends there.
