EL Mondo Pizza Vouchers

First of all, I would like to make an apologize message here. Recent post, that's Phor Tay High School overview I mentioned that the management used the budget in wrong place right? Actually I am not sure about the construction process and I mistaken that there is 2nd construction incoming! So hopefully I need to say sorry to the Phor Tay High School management and I am looking forward for the 2nd construction to be completed! 

Alright, this post I would like to show you about the vouchers of EL Mondo Pizza which I get it from Starwalk 2008. I never been the EL Mondo Pizza outlet before, but I know that there is one outlet at Kristal Point. I think I must take these vouchers with my family to have a great meal there! LOL.

My sister was holding the vouchers and it's EL Mondo Pizza.

Phor Tay High School Overview

Last Monday, my sister registered her secondary school in Phor Tay High School, Sungai Nibong. This newly built building already get the OC and get set to serve the students for study. While my sister make for her registration with my mum and me was busying to snap all parts of the new building. Actually it is a white building. I can make a joke here that America White House then this will be White School in Malaysia! Haha.The building up area was large. Even larger than Chung Ling High School, but the waste is there was no field of the compound of school. Field is so important for sports la, let's imagine if it is not field in your school where you are going to have your sports events?This was the front view of Phor Tay High School. It's seems like the 佛学院 in Penang. I forget to road name, I can imagine there was semiliar with some buildings. It have 6 floors high and about 50+ classes on one building! That's cool!There was many people queue up for the registration for their son/daughter. I snapped some photos of the Phor Tay High School compound. I am not so prefer the school environment because less grass and almost is the stones and concrete. It's just like walked into the 'Concrete Jungle' But the classrooms is bigger than our school class, that's true. And the floor of the corner walking used tiles to do it!

I think maybe they were using the budget in wrong place, why not plant more trees and build a field for students? Not every student like to study, they like sports too! Posted by GenYong 19.12.2008

Starwalk 2008 Photos Shoot Out (Part 3)

This is the final post of Starwalk 2008. Would you like to check out now what's happening next? About the lucky draw parts, I felt weird about the lucky number that picked up. Can you believe that 09032, 09033, 09034, 09035 will be drawn? It's consecutive number! I think this is the problem that make participants not so comfortable in this walk!

Btw I didn't get the prize but I ensure that's no chance for me to won back a prize too. Still remember my lucky no.? 07053 and the lucky numbers that drawn is almost 074.... How to win? Luckily, my dad brought me play games around and we won lots of prizes from sponsors.

A very thank you the main sponsor DiGi for providing us food and a cup of white coffee. Everyone was lining up to get it.

Besides provided food, DiGi also gave out the prizes for the participants. The queue was long as just like a snake. Everyone was hope to get the souvenir from DiGi.

After playing the games outdoor, we walked into the indoor site! Wow, it's a lot of people there, were we already late come in? As well there have not many suitable places for us to sit and we just walk around and continue our games.

Lucky Draws contains of Panasonic sponsored 37" inch LCD TV and the grand prize sponsored by Suzuki 5 motorcycles etc.

What were they looking at? A VIP coming?

Who is him? Actually he is our Penang Governor. He was coming and host the opening ceremony,

Everyone was busy listening to the MC and checking for their numbers. I didn't understand how come almost people were standing, your leg won't pain?

We queue up the line for playing the DiGi sponsored games for nearly one hour and what we play was bowling. Bowling?! How to play in concrete floor? It's a creative games for participants. I don't realize that what is that decoder for us to play, is it Xbox 360 or Playstation? Btw, my dad won a soccer after he strike at the first round, congratulations dad!

We sat down and waiting for the lucky draws. Seems that everyone there starting to be sleepy and boring. The MC was quickly declare the numbers and try to rush it finish on 1.30pm.

After realize there was no chance again, everyone was standing up and get set to go home.

Thank you to Star Publications for providing us a healthy walk. We will come back next year and meet you up at the same venue on 13rd December 2009! Everyone was going out to the outdoor of PISA and went home! As me here next year hope to meet anyone and thank you very much for The Star! I will support you!

Starwalk 2008 Photos Shoot Out (Part 2)

Hey guys, continue from last post this is the part 2 of Starwalk 2008. I am just like directing a movie and keep telling the features separated into parts. But I ensure that readers here would like this style right? If you don't like this style, please leave a comment and tell me! Anyway, let me show you the continuous happening in Starwalk.

Come on, starwalkers come and have a rest. The Star provided us 100 plus in front of the office which located at Bayan Lepas.

Volunteers were busy serving us 100 plus. One bottle and one bottle finish, looking at the paper cup then you will realize that how thirsty we are. p/s got people still have two cups of it!

After finish the drinking, we continue walking. It's half distance to complete the walk. All of us were full of energy now and concentrate in walking!

It's a same map as last year, walk from Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and turn into Jalan .... I forgotten the road name. We walked up the hill and traveling the 'jungle road', it's cool condition there!

Got up hill, that's sure got down hill. There was what I snap for downing hill before I ran through the hill. Down will make you speeding!

Finally we arrived at the finishing area. Look in front is a finishing line and many of participants gathered at there! Another success that we did!

We reach the finishing line, cheers up!

After finishing the walk, many people was crowded and getting the lucky draw numbers and voucher from the person in charge.

Here is my lucky draw number and the Nando's Chicken voucher, lucky no. 07053 but not getting the best luck to draw a prize!

Next what we were doing is playing some light games inside PISA area. It have DiGi provided food, Milo provided tasty drinks and many more sponsors provided their products to us!

Starwalk 2008 Photos Shoot Out (Part 1)

Last Sunday, I went to Starwalk in PISA. As I have posted up the summarize of Starwalk and now I will show you some of the photos that I shot. Anyway, I will divide it to 3 parts or more to complete the events post because the plenty of photos need to upload.

First of all, I read some bloggers written that this year Starwalk was not so successful. They wrote there were many participants cheating and walk before the event started. Actually I got an idea on because of the walking people too many and they wanted to walk back fast, so they did that. I think there was no point to censure at them.

I like this shot. Starwalk 2008 that I joined. I would like to send this photo for the organizer. XD! This picture contrast is so nice and exactly a nice photos!

Everyone was preparing before the walk started. Competitors were starting to walk and that's the reason why got some people said that non competition participants cheating.

My dad and I were walking together and we just follow the people. As I busy taking photos around and looking for the reporters and photographers who taking official photos which can publish to The Star paper.

My dad told me to walk up the flyover of Bayan Baru and take a shot. There was no vehicles at one way to town city. Every vehicles was traveling in another way, sharing one lane with another way coming cars.

Walk along the road, shiok or not? It's cool while you walking in the morning before the sun rise up.

Now matter you are kids, teenagers, adults or old folks we were walking together, chit chat to each other and also looking to others.

If it is not mistaken, starwalk is based on the objective for the whole family to join and have a Sunday morning walk. In front of me maybe is one of the families, my dad and I also an example.

Somebody walk fast, somebody walk and talk. I also saw somebody making jokes while walking. Have a light walk in the morning is good for health, do you agree?
