District 308B2 Leo Clubs Heroes!

Through out the fiscal year of 2010-2011 while I was served as Leo, I found that Leo Clubs are a good charity based club in Malaysia and also in the world! I learnt a lot of lessons being a Leo, I understand that the community needs our help, the environment need us to make a difference, the local people inspiring us!

In Leo Club, I know a lot of popular people inside it! First of all I know the Former District Chairperson Lion Alan Thoo through out this year. I was glad to know him because he is really a SUPERMAN! He is a well events organizer, events conductor, and many more! From my opinion, he did mentioned the Advance Internet Marketing Strategy (A.I.M.S) concept to all of us, that's why since that time I was using Facebook a lot! I learnt a lot from him... He is a good leader as well as a good joker too!! xD.

Former Leo President for District 308 B2 Leo Clubs as well as the Leo of the Year for MD 308 2010-2011! Leo Eliza was a good District President during her serving in Leo Cabinet. I was glad to know her through my President Lester. First in my opinion, I thought that Eliza was strict in handling everything but after know her well, I felt that she was a good leader too! Nice to meet her and I am looking forward to have another cooperation with her and her team!

Besides that, I also know the Former Leo Club Penang City President Leo Vincent Khor a.k.a Dr Khor! Well.. He is a good leader in his club, he could unite everyone and serve everyone well. I like him because he treat people in a good manner and not really force people to do something. He was also the Ex-Chung Ling Leo President in a few years ago! Glad to know him and hope that I could cooperate with him in the future!

Well I was glad to know so many of popular people through out this 2 years. Furthermore, I am looking forward for the cooperation that can make in the future. Just like Lion Alan said... Together We Make A Difference! =) ROAR...

MD 308 Leo Forum 2011 Day 2

Previously few months ago I was blogged about the Leo Forum 2011 which held at Johor Bahru. I just realized that I missed out posting about the Day 2 and Day 3 blog post to you guys. Anyway, sorry for that and now I try to update it as well! Flashback from the previous post if you already forget that before you read this!

For the 2nd day of the event, early in the morning I was accompanied my best buddy Ivan Lim to hospital due to his injury on his ears. Still remember that the Day 1 night we were having the Foot Loose session on dancing session, he accidentally get injured by the glowing light sticks that use while concert. After back from the hospital we joined them on the motivational session!

After that we were having our own sub District 308B2 Leo Forum. The whole meeting was host by Leo Cabinet and together the 2010-2011 District Chairperson Lion Alan Thoo. Inside the Sub District Leo Forum of course there were a lot of awards given out.

Look at those awards and fortunately our school as well as our club getting those awards too! Included Top Awards, Outstanding Awards, Merit Awards and many more! It was the pride for us because we had contribute our hard works in the fiscal year 2010-2011! First I would like to thank is Lion Alan who confirmed our contributions to the club as well as RCC Lion Ong Lai Peng leading us well through the whole fiscal year.

In the night, there was the formal banquet night. As you can see that everyone dressed formally when attending this banquet night dinner. Since everyone dressing smart and pretty, we took the opportunities to take photos together as the souvenir! Anyway, for guys handsome look for girls pretty look!

Congratulation to my former Assistant Treasurer Leo Nicholas Oh being awarded as the TOP Leo of the Year! He was doing well through out the whole fiscal year. He provided a lot of ideas that carried out on the projects! Bravo Nicholas! ROAR.

On that ceremony, of course there were several TOP awards awarding to several LEOs and also several Leo Clubs. Congratulation to Leo Club of Sam Tet from Ipoh, Perak getting the TOP Alpha Leo Club award for 2010-2011 and as well as Leo Club of IPG Kampus Perlis getting the TOP Omega Leo Club award for 2010-2011! There were the pride for them because they had worked hard on carrying out awesome projects!

After that, not to forget that our former District President Leo Eliza Chia being awarded as the TOP Leo Award from the Multiple District 308 Council. Congratulation to her and also she had made the pride for all the District 308 B2 Leos! I was glad to know her as well and I was proud of her serving around and finally get this award! Eliza, ROAR!!

Glad to know the Leos who from KL which stated in District 308 B1. I'm sorry forget the name of their club already.

As well as most of us requested to have a footloose session again. Even our District Chairperson Lion Alan, all RCCs were joining us on the last night footloose in the hall for almost 45 minutes! It was fun for the last night being there! Fun to be Leo... Day 3 blog post will be coming soon! Stay tuned!

MD 308 Leo Forum 2011 Day 1

In the end of May, I had participated in the Leo Forum 2011 trip to Johor Bahru for the annual function for Leo Club. Last year was at Ipoh whereas this year was held at Johor Bahru. Sorry for late posting this. This year the MD 308 Leo Forum was organized by B1 Leo Clubs which based at Johor, Pahang, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan.

The event venue was the ZON REGENCY HOTEL by the sea located at Johor Bahru. This was my first time went to Johor. Travelling so far from Penang to Johor Bahru, roughly 7 hours bus travelling from midnight until morning, we finally reached there! Johor has given me some impression, I will write about it for upcoming posts.

The event started on 2.00pm and all Leos were gathered inside the Grand ballroom of the hotel. Lions were sending their speeches to us and talk about the leadership for us! Club banners presentation were held inside the ball room too!

This was my President Leo Lester Panai Labung in his cowboy costume!

After the forum theme talk, there was the fellowship nite which everyone dressed like cowboys and cowgirls. The theme for that night was "WILD, WILD, WEST". All boys and girls were like landed to the "Western Farming Village" All in cowboys and cowgirls style!!

The Guest of Honour MD 308 Council Chairperson Lion Wong Chang Wai were invited to host the opening ceremony of the fellowship nite. The Forum Organizing Committees had prepared a fun game for him as the opening ceremony for that night.

The game was a bag of stuffs hanging on the stage and Lion Wong will be instructed by the Leos and take a stick to hit on the stuffs until it dropped. But Lion Wong was covered by a piece of cloth and just listen to the Leos's instruction.

The organizing committees also prepared a dinner pre-starting session and it was so dramatic. It seems to be like last time people try to cook everything in one big bowl and serve to others. Nice performances and thanks to the hotel waitress too!

Leo Club of IPG Kampus Perlis President Leo Potter Fong was presented his voice on the song 我爱的人 which sang by Yoga 林宥嘉. Nice performance and he can really be the star in the future!

Leos from Penang were busy chit chatting and interacting with each others. Their aims is to know all the Penang Leos first before going to know other states Leos! MD 308 Leo Forum was organized to encourage Leos to know well each other and gathered every Leos to share out their ideas.

Based on the theme that night, we were all wearing into "wild" style! The cowboy, cowgirls style. Proud to have a photo shoot with the best dressing team! =) Really nice.

Our Leo District President 2011-2012 Leo Ch'ng Kok Sheng were joining us to snap the photo together! It was so cool and so fun to enjoy on the fellowship night! Region 1, Penang Leos ROAR!

Selangor Leos also have fun on that day to yam seng with all Leos! What a memories session and happy ever! Everyone was so enjoy on that night. As you can see they were so MAD on that night! Cool =)

Pei Jia from Penang Chinese Girls High School were presented her best song ever! It was an English song... It was so romantic song and she success to gain the claps from all the Leos! ROAR! =)

Khai Lun, Samm was so high and clapped their hands to show the support to Pei Jia!

The Selangor Leos were performing a Line Dance and at the end they success to get all the Leos to have fun with them on the stage. The atmosphere there was so high!

The organizing committees also wishes those Leos who has their birthday on the month of May and June! It was so cool and they searched many birthday boys and birthday girls there! They sang the birthday song together, cut the cake together! It was so fun.

The most high part was the foot loose part! Every Leos gathered in front of the stage and all the tables were switched off to side.... DJ, start music then everyone start to dance and make the atmosphere remain high for nearly one hour! Cool. It was so high and make my friends felt so awesome on Leo Forum!

Everyone was getting as well as me! Dance on the floor. Wae Samm was there leading everyone to be dance either hip hop, break dance and everything that he could dance! Suddenly I feel that we were clubbing that time! It was so awesome =) I missed that night... Posted by GenYong 05.07.2011
