New Year Eve at KL (Part 5)

After the brunch of DimSum, we did our first shopping experience in the year 2012 at The Gardens and Mid Valley Megamall. The Gardens Mall I had been before on the year of 2010 and I still remember that time also that crowded of people. That place almost everyday also crowded according to my cousins, especially holidays or weekends! Cool.
Samsung outlet in KL was always full of people visit. No why, just because of Samsung Galaxy Products were there! In Penang, it was hard to find a new released Galaxy Note but there was a lot for you to grab! Cool. The free trial of Samsung Galaxy Tab and Samsung smartphones were make those people can get to use free inside that shop. Sushi Zanmai was another sushi outlet in the mall, the queue up line was so long and according to my cousins the sushi there sounds tasty!
Walking around the basement to Mid Valley Megamall. There was plenty of food outlets in the basement! Seriously I can say that KL food market was so huge and everywhere you can eat just scare you not enough credit to cover it. Hahaha! KL Food was not bad and yet it was not really expensive as you think! For example: One bowl of Koay Teow Soup there selling RM 4.50 which bigger than Penang one and the materials inside was a lot! Once you ate one bowl of it, you will full and stay for a few hours!
The Mid Valley shopping mall had decorated with CNY stuffs, I like the unique design of the CNY decorations and it looks so special! In the middle zone of the shopping mall, there was a maze built up with the plants decorations, those plants were so nice and I think it was specially requested by the shopping mall management to decorate up the mall for christmas season!
My cousin was trying the Alienware laptop! OMG.
Those buildings above was captured at The Gardens Residence 21st Floor. Wait, I was not living there! My uncle's brother went to KL too and we met up him at there and pay a visit to his rented residence. According to him, one night rental fee is around RM 600 and two night might over RM 1200! The scenery view there was so nice and can look far until the KL City!
My cousin with DOMO!
We had walked over the Mid Valley Megamall and shop for almost the whole shopping complex until night. Done our dinner at Sushi Tei in the basement! We had walked through a lot of toys models stores and even puzzle stores, there was a lot of unique artistic items selling. It was attracted a lot of people visit that shop too! There you can see my cousin was so like the DOMO model and tends to have a photo with DOMO!
My cousin with AstroBoy!
Yes this was my little cousin Keegan boy! He was a cute kids and yet he was naughty sometimes. Sometimes he even clever than us and like to follow what we said before and always remind us about the rule! Now he had go to Standard 1 and I hope that he can study well and being more smart after school. One of his hobbies is to collect toys, in his house you can see that a lot of toys had occupied his room! Ultraman was his favourite and also Mickey Mouse!
At last we done our lunch before we went back home on 2nd January. The lunch treated by my uncle was so nice and worth to eat! I will show it on my food blog as well soon! The restaurant was located at somewhere near Cheras, and the place is called Mahkota! Anyway, after lunch we said goodbye to all my cousins and see them in this coming Chinese New Year!

I am looking forward for Chinese New Year to come, are you? This Saturday the celebration is going to be started in my family, are you ready? xD. Posted by GenYong 17.01.2012

New Year Eve at KL (Part 4)

Here come to Part 4, what we had for our dinner on the Day 1 after the shopping in Pavillion KL? Hmm... tell you it was an awesome steamboat. It was like Lok Lok in Penang and yet like CNY steamboat in house. The special features was the special soup in the steamboat, got around 10 choices for you! Let see what we had:
Yes! It's Shabu Garden! Inside was all the Shabu-Shabu stuffs.. got seafood, lamb, beef, chicken and many more! This place was located at South Gate, Sungai Besi which was the newly open shopping complex. Currently inside this complex having the Over Time and also PapaRich! I believe that when I go KL on this year the complex will be occupied fully!

Yes we had our dinner in this nice place! They were my cousin sister, brother, aunt and uncle. Can you see that the special way of serving the steamboat. Not a big bowl and everyone rushing to have the materials. It was like everyone will get a bowl of soup which got 10 choices for you to choose! Not bad la the service I like that place very much.

There was the variety meals we had. So delicious and plenty of them! Full of seafood and every kind of meats. After we ate this, will really getting the high protein and fats or even the high cholesterol level. But don't care, just once and not everyday eating that! However, we ate until all the ingredients finished and not to waste anything there!

There were plenty of food there and mostly were seafood. I managed to finish up everything as I could because wasting food is not a good manner! So we ended up with the dinner around 11pm and seeking for place to go countdown. Everything had finished up and end up with the cost of RM 300 and free membership card for my uncle. Not bad la the taste and the food style! I like it very much!

Yes the 1st meal in 2012 was the DimSum at Duck King which located at Petaling Jaya. Made my first time there too! Early in the morning there was crowded inside the restaurant! This restaurant was specially served with the roasted ducks and maybe some DimSum food. I will post more about that soon in my coming soon food blog. Anyway, the taste and the environment there was not bad! So my 1st meal in New Year 2012 was DimSum and Happy 2012 for that!

*Soon, we had came to Part 4 I think Part 5 should be finishing up the whole series of KL Trip. Stay tuned!

New Year Eve at KL (Part 3)

From the Part 1 and Part 2 until now I still writing for the Day 1 in KL! I think this trip photos can let me write around 5 parts of stories or even more than that! The story continue from the Pavillion KL, alright I love the Pavillion KL Christmas Decorations very much and it was so awesome and looks so nice. Hmm... let me show you here:
That day when we were there, there were a team of band perform the band performances inside the shopping complex. I don't know what occasion was that maybe they were just performed as volunteer to greet people Happy New Year? By the way, it was attracted a lot of people taken out their camera and take some shots. Some of the kids were so excited when saw them!
Just walking around in the huge shopping complex! Not mistaken this complex was built up until 8 floors. The top floor is the management and property office! How cool is that? The huge stage in the centre of the mall and the unique one is the stage was at the underground! It seems like 1st Avenue in Penang but this one really awesome!
Saw many people line up in front of a booth, I wondered what food/ drinks so attractive. Then I asked my cousin about that and they suggest me to take a try on Chatime! Drinking Chatime is a trend now! People rather take Chatime as their beverages compare to Starbuck or Coffee Bean as mentioned by Nicholas Chan previously in his blog! I took the first try on it, and seriously it was so nice and cooling! The taste was so good and the materials inside were even cool! No wonder the queue line will be so long!
Walked and walked, it takes us the long time to really walk through the whole shopping complex because it was too big! Here we come to the top floor for the wing of the shopping complex and we saw a special zone called Tokyo Street. Even my cousin also never been there before so we decided to walk in and take a look inside it!\
Tokyo is the capital of Japan, of course inside this zone were full of Japanese products. The zone inside were designed uniquely with the Japanese style and some of the artworks really attractive. Inside the zone you can feel that yourself were standing at Tokyo! The shops inside were some selling Japanese food, toys model, stuffs and many more!
Inside the Tokyo Street, there was an artist who volunteering to do the portrait drawing for everyone. There was a lot of people queued up too. The free drawing time is from 11.45am until 3.45pm, so my cousin advice me to queue up and see the luck. Finally I was the last one who get the chance to get the free drawing from him! His drawing skill was so awesome and it look really likes me! My little cousin did one too! I will show you that drawing after the story series.
Walked out from Pavillion KL, we end our shopping in Pavillion KL! That time were nearly evening and the people were more and more crowded and ready for the New Year Eve countdown. We didn't stay there until the late night because we realized that place will be seriously crowded and the traffic will stuck inside there. We rather take dinner at SouthGate which located in Sungai Besi! I will show this on the next blog post.
Walked back by using the same way we came just now this time was from Pavillion KL to Farenheit 88 to Lot 10 then Sungei Wang Plaza and last Berjaya Times Square. Walking to Sungei Wang Plaza there was too crowded and the Magnum sponsored concert were prepared to have the start. Road was blocked and MY FM DJs were there playing games with the people. Come back to Times Square, the whole mall turned to be even crowded! Cool... especially the Chatime booth!

Well, KL was really full of teenagers and new stuffs, on the road we could see a lot of teenage boys and girls or even couples walking! xD Posted by GenYong 16.01.2012
